Kunezinye izizathu, ngaphandle kokuba iNdodana kaDavide, uMesiya kubhekiselwa kuye ngokuthi “uDavide.” INkosi uDavide eTestamenteni Elidala wayeyindoda evumelana nenhliziyo kaNkulunkulu uqobo (Izenzo 13:22), wayeyinkosi engalindelekile ekhethwe uNkulunkulu uqobo, futhi uMoya kaNkulunkulu wawuphezu Kwakhe (1 Samuweli 16:12–13). Ngakho-ke, uDavide uwuhlobo lukaKristu (uhlobo luwumuntu ofanekisela omunye umuntu kusengaphambili). Umbuso weminyaka eyinkulungwane uwukubusa kukaJesu Kristu okuzayo emhlabeni njengoba Ehlezi esihlalweni sobukhosi sikaDavide eJerusalema. Wonke umuntu ongena kulowo mbuso uyohlengwa nguNkulunkulu ngakho-ke ulungile (bona Isaya 35:8–10). Labo abahlala embusweni weminyaka eyinkulungwane ngemizimba ekhazinyulisiwe bangahlukaniswa ngamaqembu amathathu: ibandla, imizimba yalo eyavuswa kwabafileyo noma yashintshwa ekuhlwithweni (1 Thesalonika 4:13–18; 1 Korinte 15:21–23, 51–53); abafel’ ukholo osizini, abavuswa ekufeni ngemva kokuba uKristu ebuyele emhlabeni ( IsAmbulo 20:4–6 ); nabangcwele beTestamente Elidala, esicabanga ukuthi bavusiwe ngesikhathi esifanayo (bona uDaniyeli 12:2). Labo abaphethe embusweni ngemizimba yasemhlabeni baye basinda osizini futhi bangahlukaniswa ngamaqembu amabili: AbeZizwe abakholwayo namaJuda akholwayo.
IsAmbulo 19:11–16 sichaza ngokuza kwesibili kukaJesu Kristu. Lokhu kuhlukile ekuhlwithweni (1 Thesalonika 4:13–18; 1 Korinte 15:51–53), okuwukuvela kwangaphambili kukaKristu emoyeni. Ngakho-ke, labo abaphethe embusweni weminyaka eyinkulungwane, ekuqaleni, bayoba abalungile bazo zonke izigaba zangaphambili: AbeZizwe abakholwayo emizimbeni yasemhlabeni, u-Israyeli ohlengiwe ngemizimba yasemhlabeni, namakholwa avusiwe/ahlwithiwe ngemizimba ekhazimulayo. Labo abayobusa embusweni weminyaka eyinkulungwane bayovela “ezizweni eziningi,” kodwa ulwazi ngeNkosi uJesu luyoba indawo yonke: “Umhlaba uyogcwala ulwazi lukaJehova njengamanzi asibekela ulwandle” ( Habakuki 2:14 ). Kuyoba umkhuba ovamile walabo abaphethe umbuso weminyaka eyinkulungwane ukuba baye eJerusalema futhi bakhulekele uJehova mathupha: “Izizwe eziningi ziyofika zithi, ‘Wozani sikhuphukele entabeni yeNkosi, ethempelini likaNkulunkulu kaJakobe. Uyosifundisa izindlela zakhe, ukuze sihambe emikhondweni yakhe.’ Umthetho uyophuma eSiyoni, izwi leNkosi eJerusalema” ( Mika 4:2 )
Labo abaphethe umbuso weminyaka eyinkulungwane bayobona isizwe sakwa-Israyeli siphakanyiselwe enkazimulweni yaso egcwele. Bonke bayobuyiselwa ngokomoya nangokwenyama: “‘Ngalolo suku,’ kusho uJehova, ‘ngiyobutha izinyonga; Ngiyobutha abadingisiwe kanye nalabo engibalethe usizi. Abaqhulayo ngiyobenza insali yami, abaxoshwayo babe yisizwe esinamandla.”— Mika 4:6-7 .
Phakathi nombuso weminyaka eyinkulungwane, abangcwele emhlabeni, imizimba yemvelo bayojabulela ukuphila isikhathi eside (Isaya 65:20), futhi bayozala abantwana. Ekupheleni kweminyaka eyinkulungwane, umhlaba usugcwele abantu ngokugcwele, futhi baningi—“ngenani labo banjengesihlabathi esisogwini lolwandle”—abahlubuka eNkosini ( IsAmbulo 20:7–8 ).
